I am currently employed by a bank that pays me $10/hr and i have an interview for a bank closer to home, how much starting should i ask for at the interview? i have one year experience in banking as a teller and i will be interviewing for a teller position, part time.

They will ask you how much you made at the other place, beginners get from minimun wage to 8 dlls an hour so you should get more than that especially in California. I know because I applied, the woman didn’t like my nationality and the fact that I was recommended so she was rude the whole interview , yawning and hinting me I was boring her, I decided to look for a job somewhere else, why would I want to put up with that kind of behavior every day of the week?. Anyways you should tell them you made 10 dlls an hour and you would like to get 10 or more because you are experienced and reliable, you know the drill…
