Many leading investment banks recruit actively at the top MBA programs for summer internships and permanent jobs. In fact, if you do a summer internship at an investment bank between the first and second years of your MBA program, and you do well, you have an advantage in getting a permanent position. Of course, every stage of this is very competitive.

Most of the best MBA programs will require you have some full time work experience after your undergraduate degree, so going for the MBA “right away” might not be the best long-term answer.
