They handed poorly run industry almost a TRILLION dollars, and they can’t tell them what they can do and not do with it.

    While we are at it please remember that our current President and Vice-president were members of the senate at the time of the vote. We need to remember this in 2012 as well as 2010.

    Government can raid your home and shoot you if you sufficiently oppose paying for such bailouts. Government can throw you in jail, and take all of your property, and destroy your lifetime of work and success. Saying that, without government stealing from us to pay these bonuses, none of these bailouts would have happened.

    We can only expect the recepiant of free money, will waste it. Attempting to regulate them, through government (inefficient in itself) is a silly notion.

    What we can do, is throw the crooks form office and make sure those who replace them wont vote to steal from Americans to pay off millionaires.

    What do we do about the politicians who took money from AIG lobbyists? I wonder how far up that goes!
